Application
The stabilizer binder is used to bind the top layer of pedestrian and bicycle paths and to protect them from water erosion and dust.
Crushed stone requirements
Before mixing, the crushed stone must meet certain requirements, as the binder reacts only with the smallest coating particles.
Production
The binder is obtained industrially by separating psyllium husks from seeds.
Properties and mixing ratio
Swelling in contact with water, shrinking when dry. As a rule,
6 kg of binder is mixed with one ton of aggregates.
